But you better do some training!Beginners, novices, veterans and elite riders are all welcome to come out to the north eastern NSW community and enjoy the weekend of riding/racing and entertainment.
Emu creek is a beautiful family friendly location, with swings and a bmx track for the kids as well as swimming holes and short walks from the campgrounds to catch all the Mountain bike racing action (budding family photographers take note).
Camping facilities include: Grassy spots Fresh clean rain water Hot showers and toilets Fire pits
Course:
10.8k course (35 - 45 minute approx). The Emu Creek Lunatic fringe starts at the Moto Cross track and uses a flowing 5k single track in a new forest (think African savanah) before returning to the excellent Enduro X trail single track with bermed corners mini climbs and descents. This new course is suited to all riders. Trail surface is a combination fast clay (fire roads and Moto X track), sandy/fast hard clay/rocky sections (Enduro Moto X track). 65% Single track, 25% Double track, 10% Fire road.

Lunatic fringe (12hr Team race) 10am - 10pm Sweet Six (6hr Team race) 10am - 4pm Threeway (3hr race) 11am - 2pm Luna kids(race) 2.30pm ($Free entryregister on the day8 to 14 years Kids can use BMX bikes. Parents MUST SIGN Luna Kids Release)
Categories: Solo Man/Women/Juniors* (3hr/6hr/12hr) 2 Person: Juniors Duo/Duo Men/Duo Women/Duo Mixed (3hr/6hr/12hr) 4 Person: Juniors/Men/Women/Mixed (6hr/12hr) 6 Person: Juniors/Men/Women/Mixed (12hr) [Solo 6hr*Juniors must be 17years+. All other Juniors 12yrs+ can ride the Solo 3hrs and Duo, Duo 6hrs and 4 and 6 Person (6hr and 12hr team events)]
Please Note:Its recommended that allcompetitors must be on site by 9.45am. If you arrive after the start of the events please drive at 10kph and be aware of riders on the road. The entrance road is part of the course this year. Riders Leaving after the 3hr and 6hr are asked to pay attention and giveway to all 12hr riders when exiting the property.
Please note: All 12hr teams/solo riders must have 5hrs light power to ride the night section. (Lights front and rear) (Sunset 5.11pm) Lighting system charging facilities will be available. Yes you can bring generators, and Yes there are camp fires!
Plus: Sunday 16th activities: 9.30am: Group Enduro fun ride and breakfast (15k return) to the Clarence river(2hrs), swimming, bbqs, music and more

Arrival times: Please note all 12hr solo/team riders are encouraged to arrive Friday 15th before 8pm if you can. 12hr/6hr/3hr solo/teams are encouraged to arrive by 9am on Saturday 16th. Everyone is also welcome to come to Emu creek on friday (May 15th). (The earlier you arrive the better camp spot you will get)
Registration: The registration tent opens on Friday at 3pm. All 12hr riders will be weighed before and after their races (to check hydration levels).
Prizes: up to $3000 in cash and prizes Top 3 in each category. Prize giving will be 30 minutes after the finish of each event. 3hr at 2.30pm 6hr at 4.30pm 12hr at 10.30pm
Safety/Support: Every participant must wear a helmet, ride a safe bicycle, carry a spare/tools and obey all rules, marshals and organizers instructions. Medical personnel will be on hand for rider support. We count on you to ride in a safe manner. Riders are responsible for their own Insurance/medical coverage.
Luna kids/Non riders/Supporter fees: $5 (daily) -17 (2 days plus camping) each (All Luna kids/and NON Ridering supporters must pay the Emu Creek entrance fee when arriving. Children under 3 free )
