Here are some Travel suggestions:
We highly recommend that riders coming to participate in the Rainbow Ride arrive a day or 2 days early and stay Friday/Saturday night in Byron bay or nearby. Relax and enjoy the area, Race or watch the Byron bay criteriums from 1.30pm - 5.00pm on Saturday and then rest up for the cycle challenge (Its a 8am (NSWtime) start on sunday morning remember!)


Accommodations:
There is a lot of Accommodation choices in Byron bay. Heres some we recommend to get a good night sleep. Book your accommodation well in advance!

Getting to the start solo/team riders: Leave your car at home!
If you entered as a solo riders/teams and are coming from the Sunshine coast, Brisbane we suggest a few options.

4 person teams, get a friend to drive and be the team manager for the weekend.


Shuttles:
Nov 8th (early morning before event)
Currumbin to Byron
(Park your vehicles outside the Eco Village at Currumbin)
Departure Time: 4.30am (QLD time)
24 seats Max

Bring a small backpack (labeled with your name). We will get it to the finish for you.

Nov 8th (after event)

Departure Time: 3.00pm (QLD time)
24 seats Max

Cost: $25 each way (includes your bike)
